I love how his Solos usually have a distinct beginning, climax and conclusion. Sugaree (see 7-19-89) solos are a good example of that. He never came flying out of the gates with that song but he would hit a climax and just be spitting fire.
I love how articulate he is in the single note capacity, especially at articulating a melody (i.e. Brown Eyed Women, Cornell), he could hit the sweetest notes unlike any other "rock" guitarist.

Hey Casp check out 4-5-89 for some of the tightest Jer and band playing you'll ever hear. Gets my vote for best aud. recordings that I can recall too. So don't be shy too download and crank it up there.
